One of the objects of the DDCC is:

To promote interest in missions, by setting aside special times and meetings and by receiving and sharing funds to support missionary work in conformity with the doctrinal basis of the Association.

Each year a number of mission speakers visit the Convention, listed here are some of the Societies that have presented at previous Conventions.

International China Concern

Since its founding in 1993, International China Concern (ICC) has partnered with the Chinese government to develop social welfare services for China’s most vulnerable children – the abandoned and disabled.

Our reputation and relationships in China place us in an excellent position to not only provide family-style group homes and specialist services for the neediest children, but also empower and train Chinese nationals to see lives saved, families supported, communities transformed and attitudes changed.

Indian Evangelical Mission

Our mission is to: - take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unevangelized areas in India and abroad, and to plant churches among unreached people. Our goal is a church among every people group and the Gospel to every person.
- challenge Indian Christians to realize their responsibility for world evangelization and to recognize their partnership with other Christians in the world in fulfilling their task.

We are OMF International (formerly the China Inland Mission and Overseas Missionary Fellowship), founded by James Hudson Taylor in 1865. We serve the church and bring the gospel to many of the countries in East Asia, and we have a pioneering ministry in the rest. We help place Christians with professional skills in China and other Asian countries, and share the love of Christ with East Asians worldwide.

Our Mission: To bring Christ to the world by media. We raise prayer, financial, and personnel resources from within Australia to help develop and deliver communications infrastructure and programming so that listeners in communities of need can know the love of God and become followers of Jesus.

Our mission is to see transformation, as brought about by the Gospel, in the lives of those incarcerated, continuing toward Christian maturity upon their release. We fulfil this by providing a quality chaplaincy service in which one or more IOC Chaplains are serving in every prison throughout Queensland.

The main ministry of Barnabas Fund is to send financial support to projects which help Christians where they suffer discrimination, oppression and persecution as a consequence of their faith. The projects aim to strengthen Christian individuals, churches and their communities by providing material and spiritual support in response to needs identified by local Christian leaders.

The primary role of Wycliffe Australia in this vision is to train and support Australian Christians who are willing to live cross-culturally, using their skills and character to give a practical helping hand to local communities undertaking translation projects or to pioneer new ones ready to start.

In the power of the Gospel of Christ which touches one life at a time, this team makes a difference in a village, a community, or perhaps the nation of Cambodia. “With great power the apostles continued their teaching. They gave witness that the Lord Jesus had risen from the dead. And they were greatly blessed by God.” Acts 4:33

We are part of a dynamic team of men and women from all over the world, committed to making Christ known. With approximately 1800 missionaries working in about 70 countries throughout Africa, Asia and South America. SIM is as diverse as the people we serve. We facilitate missionaries from anywhere to everywhere, working in an almost unlimited range of ministries. In partnership with others in the body of Christ we seek to establish a mature church in the world through planting, strengthening and partnering churches. We encourage them to be the expression of Christ in their communities through meeting human need and reaching out with cross-cultural missionary vision and action.
